Ingredients & standards

Every claim, with the standard behind it.

We'd rather show our work than shout. Here's what “clean” means at OMTILO, the certifications behind it, and exactly which claim applies to which product.

Certified natural

Our formulas are certified to the COSMOS standard for natural and organic cosmetics. The tier differs by product — see the table below for each one.

Vegan

No animal-derived ingredients in any OMTILO product. Every formula is vegan, start to finish.

Cruelty-free

No animal testing, anywhere. We don't test on animals and don't ask anyone to do it for us.

EU-made

Developed and produced in the EU, so every product meets strict European cosmetic standards.

Recyclable packaging

Our bottles, jars and cartons are designed to be recyclable, and we keep packaging simple, with no excess.

Dermatologically tested

Applies to the Quiet Glow Serum, Daily Balance Essence and Daily Calm Moisturizer. We only say it where it’s true, not on the cleanser or the oil.

Certifications, product by product

The COSMOS tier and the testing claims are specific to each formula. Here's exactly what applies where.

Product COSMOS tier Natural origin Derm-tested Notes
Gentle Cleanser COSMOS Organic 99%Gluten-free · nut-free
Daily Balance Essence COSMOS Natural 99%YesGluten-free · nut-free
Quiet Glow Serum COSMOS Natural 99%YesGluten-free · nut-free
Daily Calm Moisturizer COSMOS Organic 100%YesFragrance-free · for sensitive skin · gluten-free · nut-free
Quiet Hours Facial Oil COSMOS Organic 100%Gluten-free · contains sweet almond oil (tree nut)

“Fragrance-free” and “sensitive skin” apply only to the Daily Calm Moisturizer. The Quiet Hours Facial Oil contains sweet almond oil and is not suitable for those with a nut allergy.

Full ingredient transparency

Every product shows its complete ingredient list, using the official ingredient names regulators require (their INCI names), on the page and on pack. We use those names inside ingredient lists, and plain language everywhere else.
