Your skin is covered in microorganisms. That's normal, and not a problem to be solved.
The microbiome, briefly
Bacteria, fungi, and others live on the skin, in different mixes on different parts of the body. Oily areas host different communities than dry ones. Harsh products, over-cleansing, and a stressed barrier can disturb that surface. What "balanced" means exactly is still being argued over in the literature, which is worth knowing before anyone sells you a number.
The research here is young. We would rather say so plainly than dress it up.

What prebiotic ingredients are meant to do
They're meant to support the microorganisms already living on your skin, rather than add another active on top of them. It's a gentle idea, and the early evidence is promising rather than settled.
Where ours are
Prebiotics appear in the Daily Balance Essence and the Quiet Glow Serum, alongside hyaluronic acid and sodium PCA, which draw water into the surface.
Both are made for daily use, morning and evening. Both also contain alcohol and a light natural fragrance, which is worth knowing if your skin is currently reacting to everything. Our fragrance-free option is the Daily Calm Moisturizer.
What we are not telling you
We aren't claiming to rebalance your microbiome, or to boost anything. Nobody can measure that on your face, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. What we can point to instead is what independent certification actually verifies, which is a smaller claim and a checkable one.
The quiet version
Looking after your microbiome mostly means looking after your skin. Fewer harsh steps, less scrubbing, and a routine you can actually keep up. A gentle reset is where that starts.
